Customers are demanding
diverse spend reporting
More than 10% of all RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.) invitations ask respondents to provide evidence of having a supplier diversity program and to indicate the spend with Women-Minority-LGBT-Disability-Veteran-Owned certified businesses. For those companies that have at least $700k of spend with the federal government must have a supplier diversity program in order to satisfy the annual sub-contracting reporting requirements.
